Review- Sura one of the most anticipated movie of Vijay is supposed to be a big hit lot before its release. This movie is an action packed thriller and roles of of both actress and Vijay is complete entertaining.

Sura is an action-packed film, set in a fishermen colony. Vijay and Tammana play the lead-pair, supported by Pasupathi, Vadivelu and Riyaz Khan. Sura is a fisherman who becomes a one man army and fights injustice when goons try to swindle the simple fisherfolk.

The music of Sura is very pleasing and would already have appealed you when you had heard him in Audio CD’s. The Cinematography deserves a big complement and overall the movie is completely watchable

Sura to Release on April 30

Vijay’s much expected movie Sura is expected to release on April 30, Sura has turned out be one of the much expected movie of Vijay’s carrier since the movie is Vijay’s 50th film. And one more reason for expectation is that, Sura distribution rights have been acquired by Sun Pictures, which means enough publicity and sure success at the Box Office.

Sura Audio Release on March 29

A week back in time, buzzes about audio launch of ‘Sura’ slated to be held on March 26 was rapidly spread. But the latest reports have confirmed that the music release function will take place on the evening of March 29 at Lady Andal School, Chetpet.

Since, its Sun Pictures releasing the film, they haven’t invited other media channels for the occasion. As of now, the decisions about live telecast on Sun network are yet to be made and it is expected to be a star-spangled occasion with who’s who of Kollywood gracing over this special event.

With Mani Sharma’s previous albums with actor Vijay happening to be chartbusters, the entire lights are now turned on ‘Sura’ that brings duo combo back in action.

Sura vs Singam

The big question being asked in the trade is which of the two biggies Vijay’s Sura or Surya’s Singam will release for April 14?

Both these big budget movies are likely to be released by the market leader Sun Pictures.

Sun Pictures is one of the most professional film producers in India. They follow the Hollywood pattern where the first copy of the film is seen by a competent team of studio executives, who after seeing the film make suggestions on how the final product could be improved or necessary as per their specifications.

Similarly Sun Pictures have a team dedicated to watch a film which they have picked up. After seeing the film they make improvisation if needed to better the product and may even suggest a new song or an additional scene to hold the story together.

The team works looking at the bigger picture and the overall impact the film will create at the box-office and its target audiences.

So far the corrections if any have worked to the advantage of the film they have purchased. Once the film gets the final approval from the dedicated team, the marketing starts two weeks before release. For this process to kick start the producers should submit the rough copy well in advance.

For April 14, Sun Pictures are looking at Sura and Singam, among which one will release. The choice will be taken purely on the basis of who will submit the film for scrutiny first. A race is on between producers of Sura and Singam to get that big summer holiday special date- April 14.

Sura Song Release on March 26

Audio release of Vijay's 50th movie Sura is reportedly scheduled to be held on March 26.The music for the movie has been scored by Mani Sharma, who has already been associated with Vijay in movies like Shajahan and Pokkiri. As per sources a massive set has been erected at a cost of 40 lakhs in Anumondhai near Puducherry for a kuthu song featuring three Mumbai models featured along with.

Sura features Vijay and Tamannah in lead roles in the movie that is likely to be released on April 14, 2010. The movie is being directed by S.P.Rajkumar and produced by Sangili Murugan. The movie distribution rights has been aquired by Sun Pictures.

Vijay - 3 idiots Remake

No offence to his fans but we have news about ‘Ilaya Thalapathi’ Vijay. Sources say that Vijay has expressed his interest in acting in the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ starring Aamir Khan.Vijay has apparently shown much interest in the remake in Tamil, which will be directed by ‘Billa’ director Vishnuvardhan. Sources say that Vijay would do Aamir's role in the movie. Vishnu has been having a bad outing ever since his ‘Sarvam’ starring Arya and Trisha bombed at the box office. He would hope to revive his record with the remake of ‘3 Idiots’. Sources say that Vishnu will modify the subject according to tastes of the Tamil audience.

Sources reveal that the Tamil remake rights of ‘3 Idiots’ have been bought by Gemini Film Circuit, who have remade many hit movies in the past, including 'Vasool Raja', theremake of ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’. Watch out for this space, for more updates on Vijay’s next movie.
